Bones are a vanilla item in Minecraft dropped by Skeletons.
Bones can be found in chests hidden in desert temples and jungle temples in stacks of 4 to 6. Skeletons and Wither Skeletons may drop 0–2 bones upon death. Bones can also be obtained by fishing as part of the junk category. The best chance of catching a bone is achieved without the Lure or Luck of the Sea enchantments, yielding a 1.2% chance.
